Follow-up automation turns Nudji's engagement signals into ready-to-send follow-up emails. Instead of staring at a blank page wondering what to write and when, Nudji drafts the perfectly-timed follow-up the moment a client engages — you just review and send.

How it works

  1. Write a template. Go to Follow-ups → Manage rules and create a reusable email template — a name, a subject, and a body. Use merge fields so each email is personalised automatically:
    • {{client_name}} — the client's name
    • {{proposal_title}} — the proposal's title
    • {{sender_name}} — your name
  2. Choose a trigger. Map each engagement signal to a template and switch it on:
    • First open — the client opened the proposal for the first time
    • Re-opened — they came back to it later
    • High intent — repeated visits with real reading time
    • Multiple viewers — more than one person viewed it
    • Deep read — they spent 3+ minutes reading
    • Quick bounce — opened, but left almost immediately
  3. Nudji drafts the follow-up. When that signal fires, Nudji fills in your template and drops a ready-to-send draft into your Follow-ups inbox.
  4. You review and send. Open the draft, make any edits, and click Send via Nudji — or Copy it into your own inbox. You can dismiss any draft you don't want.

You're always in control

Nothing is ever sent automatically. Every follow-up waits in your inbox for you to review first — so you decide exactly what goes out and when.

A few notes

  • A follow-up is only drafted when a trigger is switched on and has a template assigned.
  • The email is sent on your behalf — your name is shown as the sender, and replies route straight back to your own inbox.
  • If a proposal has no client email on file, you'll still get the draft — just use Copy to send it from your own email.
